So...I have had this blog for some time now, but I've never managed to start writing, therefore, I guess today is my debut.

Just a little background...I am a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University. I'm pursuing a degree in public health. While I am very passionate about public health, I feel that my purpose in life is to empower people and communities. Public health is simply an avenue to assist me in fulfilling my purpose in life.
